The face behind the screen (and, oftentimes, book)
Nice to meet you! I’m a millennial reader who started sharing about my love of reading on Bookstagram in 2022. While I’m still active there, I wanted to create a space that’s a little more organized and a little more my own. I’ve also started and abandoned many a blog throughout the years, so in some ways, this space was a creation waiting to happen.

My reading life has seen many ebbs and flows throughout the years, with my earliest favorite books I remember being Junie B. Jones, The Baby-Sitters Club, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and virtually every book written by Sarah Dessen and Jodi Picoult (I’m not joking). In high school and college, I feverishly read the Twilight and Hunger Games series, but I really fell out of reading as I worked towards a degree in psychology and ultimately began my career.
Like so many, I found solace in books during the COVID-19 pandemic, sought a sense of community through Bookstagram, and the rest is history. Now, I’m a therapist by day, reader by night living in central Texas with my husband, our two fur babies, and soon, tiny human!
As you browse this space, I hope you feel a sense of comfort, inspiration, and of course, an urge to slow down and get lost in a great book.
